OpraBills Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 12, 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OpraBills website, mobile application, and related products and services (collectively, the "Services") offered by OpraBills Inc. ("OpraBills," "we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms, including the arbitration clause in Section 16. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use our Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to bind that entity.
2. Description of Services
OpraBills helps users manage recurring subscription expenses through virtual card controls, predictive rule-based automations, and personalized bundling insights. Features may include:
- Subscription visibility and categorization
- Predictive alerts for upcoming charges or inactivity
- Custom spending rules
- OpraCard: A virtual payment card that enforces spending rules
- Personalized bundle recommendations
- Integration with third-party services (e.g., Plaid, Gmail)
Some features are free; others are available only to paid subscribers.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
4. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your data. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices.
5. Subscription and Billing
OpraBills offers both free and paid plans. The Pro Plan ($5.99/month) includes full access to virtual card controls, rule automation, and predictive features. A Premium Plan ($8.99/month) includes all features, such as bundling optimization and advanced alerts.
If you upgrade, you authorize us (or our processor, e.g., Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time in the app.
6. Free Plan Restrictions
The Free Plan allows subscription visibility and alerts only. OpraCard is not included. Contextual prompts may invite users to upgrade for advanced features (e.g., blocking a charge).
7. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services such as Plaid to retrieve financial data. By connecting an account, you authorize us and the third party to access and process your data per their terms.
8. Data Accuracy and Reliability
We rely on information provided by users and third parties. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Users are responsible for reviewing charges and managing accounts.
9. Limited Agent Authorization
You authorize OpraBills, as your limited agent, to interact with third parties (e.g., subscription vendors) on your behalf for the purpose of applying cancellation requests, billing preferences, or spending rules.
10. Intellectual Property
All content and technology on our Services is owned by or licensed to OpraBills. You may use it only for personal, non-commercial purposes and not for replication, distribution, or reverse engineering.
11. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes
- Interfere with system integrity or access
- Attempt to reverse engineer our software
- Provide false or misleading account information
12. ACH Authorization
By enabling features that require bank debits (e.g., subscription billing or smart savings), you authorize OpraBills to debit and credit your linked account via ACH. You may revoke authorization by emailing us at least three business days in advance of a scheduled transaction.
13. Changes to the Services
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. We will attempt to notify you in advance when materially changing core functionality or pricing.
14. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for security, legal, or fraud-related reasons.
15. Disclaimers
OpraBills does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for third-party content, network outages, or data losses.
16. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with us through final and binding arbitration, not in court, except for eligible claims in small claims court. You waive your right to participate in any class action.
Location: The arbitration will take place in Michigan or virtually.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of creating your account by emailing legal@oprabills.com.
